Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of Sakb. They are written to be readable. Where regulation requires specific language, that language appears in full.

By creating a Sakb account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Sakb on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Sakb is intended for use by businesses operating in Saudi Arabia. You must be of legal age and capacity to enter into a binding contract under Saudi law.

You may use Sakb to perform accounting and bookkeeping for your own business or, in the case of accounting firms with the appropriate tier, for your clients. You may not use Sakb to violate Saudi law, infringe rights of others, or attempt to disrupt the service.

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Sakb supports SSO and MFA — we strongly recommend you enable both.

Subscription fees are as listed on the pricing page and are billed monthly in advance. All fees are exclusive of VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate. Fees are non-refundable except as required by Saudi law.

You retain ownership of all data you submit to Sakb. We process that data on your behalf to provide the service, in accordance with our Privacy policy and Security commitments. On termination, we provide an export of your data and delete it from our active systems within 30 days, subject to retention periods required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law, Sakb's aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Sakb is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Sakb prepares accounting outputs (returns, reports, ledgers) but the responsibility for filing returns, signing financial statements, and making business decisions rests with you and your certified advisors. Sakb is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.

You may terminate your subscription at any time with effect at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate for material breach with notice and an opportunity to cure where the breach is curable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be referred to the competent Saudi courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated in advance. Continued use of Sakb after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
